At Benneton Care Home, we provide a safe, nurturing, and therapeutically informed residential setting for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those affected by trauma. Our six-bedroom home is thoughtfully designed to promote healing, growth, and a sense of belonging.
Our Vision
We believe that every child deserves a secure environment where they can flourish emotionally, socially, and academically. Our vision is to empower each young person to reach their full potential through individualised therapeutic care and a deep understanding of their unique journeys.
A Therapeutic, Trauma-Informed Environment
Benneton Care Home is a trauma-informed therapeutic home that embeds evidence-based practices into everyday living. Our team is trained in trauma recovery, attachment theory, and the neurological impact of trauma. We provide consistent, predictable care routines that foster trust and emotional safety.
Our six bedrooms are spacious and calming, offering each young person their own private sanctuary. Communal spaces are welcoming and inclusive, encouraging social connection and shared experiences.

Family & Community Connection
We understand the critical role families and networks play in a young person’s healing journey. We maintain open, honest, and supportive communication with families, and actively include them in care planning and review processes. Our home also encourages appropriate community engagement, helping each young person to build confidence, independence, and social skills.
Referrals & Admissions
We work in partnership with local authorities, and social care teams to ensure a smooth and thoughtful referral and admission process. Each placement is carefully considered to match the young person’s needs with our home’s capabilities and values.
